Well, we haven't had any snow this winter to keep us off the trails.
But, should such a situation occur...

In the event you do decide purchase crampons. Make sure to buy them a half or full size up. If not they might be to tight on the shoe and rip. Then you are out of luck.

Let us not forget screw shoes... : ) I have my mind set to try that on an old pairs of running shoes if I can ever remember to get the screws.
